Phil Rossi served the Boston Red Sox from 1981 to 1997, the New York Yankees from 1997 to 2000, the Cleveland Indians from 2000 to 2005, and then the Florida Marlins/Miami Marlins beginning in 2006 until 2022. Over the course of his scouting work, Rossi was instrumental in identifying and signing MLB  players for his respected teams.

Rossi was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1977 and played two seasons of minor league ball, Rossi’s lasting impact on professional baseball has come overwhelmingly through his 4+ decades of dedicated scouting work, where his eye for potential and deep knowledge of the game has been his defining legacy. He played his college baseball at Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

Phil Rossi offers hitting/pitching lessons in the Scranton, PA area and offers in-person written evaluations of high school/college players that live in driving distance of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Coach Rossi will attend your game and give you a written evaluation of your performance and offer insight into fundamental changes you may want to consider to improve your performance.

Phil also offers college recruitment services using his many connections in college baseball over 40+ years to help get players to college.
